Protecting the worlds children

A systematic review of 55 studies from 24 countries found that globally, up to 31% of females reported having been sexually abused before reaching the age of 18.

A large-scale national study conducted in 2007 by Ministry of Women and Child Development, to assess the extent and nature of child abuse in India, found that 53% of over 12,000 children interviewed reported having experienced sexual abuse.

Feed the worlds children

According to the most recent Global Hunger Index findings, more than 17% of the worlds children are malnourished.

In India specifically, it's estimated that 34.7% of children under 5 have their growth stunted due to poor nutrition, and 51.4% of women are anemic.
